Description

TheFenix WF05E is the first spark-safe flashlight from Fenix , certified by IECEx, ATEX and SGS for use in the most hazardous explosive zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

TheFenix WF05E is a small, lightweight and easy-to-carry flashlight, providing a small but fully safe light output of 85 lumens.

The flashlight's tube is made of lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum, an alloy that is resistant to oxidation and mechanical damage.

The flashlight can be conveniently carried in a pocket or a mount thanks to a polymer clip with anti-static and anti-explosion properties.

The light source is the popular Cree XP-G2 LED emitting a beam of neutral color, the illumination of which does not tire the eyes, and illuminated objects more faithfully reflect their colors and details. Switching on, switching off and changing the brightness is done by turning the flashlight head.

The user can choose from 3 brightness modes: high 85 lumens, medium 30 lumens and low 10 lumens. The flashlight is powered by two AA alkaline batteries. The manufacturer stipulates the necessity of using only the batteries indicated before.

TheFenix WF05E has physical reverse polarity protection and a high IP68 rating, meaning that the device is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain, full immersion in water to a depth of 2 mm (for 30 minutes) and a drop from a height of 1 meter.

The Fenix WF05E has undergone rigorous testing and is IECEx, ATEX and SGS certified, which allows the device to operate in particularly hazardous environments, ie:

  • Zone 1- a space where an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable substances in the form of gases, mists, vapors may occasionally arise during normal use.
  • Zone 2- a space in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable substances in the form of gases, mists, usually does not occur during normal use, but there is a risk of its occurrence and short duration
  • Zone 21 - a space where the explosive atmosphere consists of a cloud of combustible dust in air, may occasionally occur during normal use
  • Zone 22 - a space where the explosive atmosphere consists of a cloud of combustible dust in air, does not occur during normal use, but there is a risk of its appearance and brief occurrence.

Only the indicated battery models should be used in the flashlight:

  • Energizer E92,
  • Duracell MN2400,
  • Panasonic LR03XWA

The parameters shown were obtained under laboratory conditions. Energizer E92 alkaline batteries were used during testing.
