Fenix HT30R is an innovative flashlight for hunting and uniformed use, in which the white laser klsy I wave is transformed into a stream of concentrated full-spectrum light. The advanced optics create a precise beam of light with an impressive range of 1,500 meters, enabling precise illumination of a distant target. Such features make the HT30R perfect as a tactical light and a flashlight for night hunting.

The body of the Fenix HT30R flashlight is made of hardened A6061-T6 aluminum, subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process. The hard-wearing oxide coating permanently protects the flashlight's barrel and head from scratches and abrasion. The flashlight is relatively light (264 g), has a small size (179 mm), which allows it to be mounted on the weapon. Thanks to the transverse moleting of the surface and the use of a geometric profile of the head, the flashlight fits stably in the hand and does not roll off sloping surfaces. The HT30R has a detachable steel clip that allows you to quickly attach the flashlight to your belt, armor or pocket edge.

The light source is a Class 1 laser emitter that generates a maximum beam of 500 lumens. The flashlight uses a white laser wave, which, after hitting the fluorescent luminophore reflector, is converted by the optical system into white light with a wide spectrum. The wave penetrating the three-layer lens creates a concentrated white laser beam similar to the bandwidth produced by a diode. White laser illumination maintains high collimation properties. It is also safe to use because the optical system deprives it of the harmful effects normally found in monochromatic light. Due to the high density of light at the central point, staring at the light source can cause permanent damage to the eyesight. Prolonged exposure to the skin can also cause skin burns.

Precisely focused light is ideal for spotlighting a target from a distance. Thanks to such properties, the Fenix HT30R laser flashlight will be great for night hunting, night shooting and any activity where you want perfectly focused light.

The flashlight uses 3 light modes: high, low, strobe. The manufacturer deliberately minimized the number of modes to the most frequently used and useful, because the simple interface affects the ease and speed of use. This increases the functionality of the flashlight and meets the needs of Users who are increasingly looking for lighting with fewer functions.To operate the flashlight, there are two buttons, i.e. a large switch responsible for turning the flashlight on/off and momentary light, and a smaller switch used to change modes. The buttons are located close to each other and easily felt even with a glove, so the flashlight can be comfortably operated with one hand even in total darkness.

The flashlight is powered by a 21700 cell with a capacity of as much as 5000 mAh! The battery used has twice the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, affecting performance and long runtime. In the maximum mode of 500 lumens, the flashlight works for as long as 160 minutes!

In this class of laser flashlights, this is an impressive result, testifying to the fine-tuned driver and the high class of the battery. Thanks to the memory function, when the flashlight is turned off and reactivated, the last used light mode is automatically selected.

The Fenix HT30R has a built-in USB-C charging port, allowing the cell to be charged very quickly. The USB-C port also allows you to charge the flashlight from a portable power-bank, greatly increasing the mobility and capabilities of the Fenix HT30R. The charging port is accessed by partially unscrewing the head, so the port is effectively protected from moisture, dust and dirt. Thanks to the function of the battery level indicator (LED in the body) and low voltage warning, we can control the operation of the flashlight and manage the remaining energy reserve. When the flashlight is turned on, the indicator informs us about the battery status for 3 seconds.

Thebattery compartment uses two springs (at both poles) to hold the cell in the correct position. The flashlight is thus resistant to gun recoil and falling.

Battery level indicator

Thanks to the function of the battery level indicator (LED in the side switch) and the low voltage warning, we can control the operation of the flashlight and manage the remaining energy reserve. When the flashlight is turned on, the indicator informs us about the status of the battery for 3 seconds.

Battery level indications:

• glowing green LED: 100-85%,
• flashing green LED: 85-50%,
• glowing red LED: 50-25%,
• flashing red LED: 25-1%.

The flashlight uses several protection systems, including reverse polarity protection, low voltage warning and "smart protection" against overheating. The high IP68 protection class makes the flashlight resistant to total immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 2 m), dust and dirt, and falling.

For the laser tactical flashlight, we can use a range of accessories, including the ALG-16 mount, the AER-04 and AER-05 gel switch, and several AOT-L and AOF-L diffusers.

The parameters shown were obtained under laboratory conditions. A Fenix ARB-L21 5000 mAh battery was used during testing.
