The flashlight's barrel is made of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum A6061-T6, which contributes to its light weight and provides resistance to mechanical damage. Transverse mottling of the surface prevents the flashlight from slipping from the hand and gives it a modern look. The optical system is protected by a crown (raised head elements), which protects the glass in case of a fall or setting on an uneven surface. Thanks to the use of a spring clip (detachable), the flashlight can be attached and carried on a belt, by a backpack or bag, so that it is within easy reach when needed.

The flashlight is powered by a 21700 type cell with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The battery used has nearly twice the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, which obviously affects the increased runtime of the flashlight.

The Fenix TK20R UE has a built-in USB-C port, which allows you to charge the cell without the need for an additional charger. All you need to charge it is a standard USB-C cable (included) and a power source, such as a power bank, laptop, desktop computer or car USB charger. According to the manufacturer, the 21700 battery provides up to 170 minutes of total operation in turbo mode of 2800 lumens. Charging the battery from 1% to 100% should not take more than 3.5 hours. The use of two springs in the battery compartment, guarantees stable operation and prevents power failures caused by falling or recoil of the weapon.

The flashlight offers 5 continuouslight modes : turbo, high, medium, low, eco and 1 flash mode: strobe. This allows you to precisely adjust the light parameters to the situation and your own needs. To operate the flashlight, the FlexiSensa system was used, based on a perfectly tactile button and mode-switching dial. This solution allows you to activate the patrol mode, in which you switch between the previously mentioned modes, or the tactical mode, which will allow you to quickly trigger the most powerful turbo stream or dazzling strobe.

The TK20R UE is friendly and comfortable to use, and it will only take a few minutes to learn the interface. The TK20R UE flashlight uses an LED indicator to let the user know the battery discharge level. A hidden LED, visible only when the head is partially unscrewed, provides real-time information about the battery level.
