The flashlight has a lightweight construction made of anodized aluminum, which allows for proper heat dissipation and guarantees its resistance to total immersion in water (up to 2 m), a fall from a height of 1.5 m and the penetration of dust and small solids. The high IP68 protection class makes the flashlight ideal for use in harsh weather conditions, whether used in the city, in the woods or while driving in the mountains.

Thanks to its small size, low weight (155 g with battery) and quick release function from the handlebars, the Fenix BC26R can also be used as a standard handheld flashlight. If you supply the ALD-08 adapter, the flashlight can be mounted on a bicycle helmet, which further allows you to use the flashlight as a headlamp during activities that require free hands. The bike mount has a function to quickly detach the flashlight from the handlebars. To do this, you just need to press the locking lever and slide the light out of the clamp. The set includes silicone adapters, which allow you to accurately fit the holder to the diameter of the handlebars in the range of 28 to 35 mm. They also allow us to adjust and lock the tilt of the flashlight within 15°.

The Fenix BC26R flashlight uses a Luminus LED that emits a maximum light output of as much as 1600 lumens. The light produced is neutral in color, does not tire the eyes, provides accurate color rendition and the ability to recognize more details in night vision conditions. The maximum range of reflected light in turbo mode is 169 meters, which in both urban and wilderness conditions provides excellent visibility and the ability to react early to the situation on the road. The flashlight has a raised dome of the diffuser and side openings that allow the light to be emitted sideways, warning vehicles coming from the left and right, as well as those following a cyclist. The Fenix BC26R has a light beam of 100°, which provides a comfortable field of vision, especially when cornering or riding over rough terrain.

Power supply The power source is a 5000 mAh ARB-L21-5000 battery, which, when charged, provides nearly 10 hours of operation in 600 lumen mode, or up to 210 minutes in 1600 lumen turbo mode (total time). The battery is charged via the built-in USB-C port, so we don't have to worry about buying an additional charger. The high charging current of 2 A allows the battery to be fully charged in just 4 hours. It is worth noting that we can use the flashlight during charging (low and medium mode only), although this will, of course, affect the extended charging time of the battery. We can control the level of battery charge thanks to the LED indicator in the button, which simply and clearly informs us about the energy status.

Status of the battery level indicator:

• red flashing LED: critical level 1-25%
• red diode: low level 25-50%
• green flashing diode: medium level 50-85%
• green LED: high level 85-100%

Fenix BC26R offers 4 continuous light modes: low→medium→high→turbo and flashing light. A single metal button is used to turn on/off and change brightness, which also activates the battery level indicator. Simple and intuitive operation is a definite advantage of the bike flashlight, especially in busy urban areas.

The flashlight remembers the last used brightness level. When you turn it on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function). A low battery warning is automatically activated when the defined voltage level drops (flashing battery level indicator LED). The flashlight also has protection against overheating in turbo mode. In order to reduce the temperature, the controller reduces the brightness by a few lumens, allowing the turbo mode to be activated again.

Fenix BC05R V2.0 is a rear bicycle light that will make you perfectly visible to other road users. This versatile light can also be used as a warning light for outdoor activities practiced after dark.

The Fenix BC05R V2.0 effectively implements the most important advantages of its predecessor (light weight and compact size), thanks to which the Fenix bicycle flashlight has won the hearts of two-wheeled enthusiasts. The flashlight is IP66-rated, so the BC05R V2.0 can be used even in heavy rain, snowfall and high humidity. The body is drop resistant from a height of 1.5 meters, so the light can also be used on mountain bikes.

Rear bicycle light with extended running time

The Fenix BC05R V2.0 is powered by a 400 mAh lithium-polymer battery, which provides up to 120 hours of continuous operation in low flash mode. Cycling 2 hours a day, the battery will last up to 60 days of use. The built-in battery can be charged in just 90 minutes, via a USB-C port with a 1A charging current. Productive management of the power supply is facilitated by an LED indicator with a low battery notification function. To check the battery status, simply flick the switch one at a time.

Possibility to change the light modes

The lamp emits red light with a maximum flux of 15 lumens, visible from a distance of more than 200 m. Such a light parameter ensures our safety both in urban traffic and outside metropolitan areas, where maintaining visibility is particularly important.
The light is operated by a single enlarged button, which is responsible for switching on/off, checking the battery level and changing the light modes. The user has 6 light variants, divided into 2 brightness groups:

1. fast flash mode 15 lumens
2. slow flash mode 15 lumens
3. constant light mode 15 lumens
4. fast flash mode 5 lumens
5. slow flash mode 5 lumens
6. constant light mode 5 lumens

The convex profile of the lens makes the emitted light have a wide viewing angle of 180°, so it more effectively warns other traffic participants not only behind the bike, but also on the right and left side of the bike.

Outdoor light for cycling and hiking

The light has a simple and robust mounting system in the form of a silicone clamp. Its size can be easily adjusted to fit most bicycle seatposts (20-35 mm). It also comes with an additional clip, which allows you to attach the light to your belt or backpack and use it as a warning and emergency light for various outdoor activities. Such functionality also makes the Fenix BC05R V2.0 suitable as a jogging, camping and trekking light.

The measurement of the 400 mAh battery was carried out in an environment with an air temperature of about 21°C (~ 3°C) with a humidity of 50-80%.
