Fenix LD30R - a modern EDC flashlight with excellent performance

The light source is a new generation LUMINUS SST40 LED, emitting a maximum light output of 1600 lumens at a distance of up to 205 meters. The cool-neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendition and better visibility of details. The flashlight uses a collimating lens with high light transmission and an orange peel reflector, which make the light output evenly and widely dispersed, efficiently illuminating the center and sides of the scene ahead.

The user has 5 modes of constant light: turbo, high, medium, low and moon, as well as two flash modes: strobe and S.O.S. Two buttons are used to operate the flashlight - a rear tactical switch responsible for turning the flashlight on, off and momentary light, and a side switch that allows changing modes and activating flash modes. This makes the Fenix LD30R very simple and convenient for everyday use, as well as providing high ergonomics during tactical use.

The flashlight's tube is made of anodized aircraft aluminum, which guarantees high resistance to damage and robustness of construction. Thanks to the transverse moleting of the surface, the flashlight does not slip from the hand, and its grip is well felt. The Fenix LD30 can be powered by the included ARB-L18-3400U rechargeable battery. The flashlight has a high IP68 rating, so it is resistant to full immersion in water at a depth of 2 m and a fall from a height of 1 m.

Thanks to the two-way clip, the flashlight can be easily attached to a belt, backpack, as well as on the visor of a hat as an improvised headlamp. The LD30R flashlight also features a very useful battery level indicator (LED in the side switch), protection against overheating and reverse polarity, and a low battery warning function.

The light performance was tested using the ARB-L18-3400 battery.
